The Jefferson Chalmers Farmers' Market (JCFM) returns Sunday, July 26, 2026 at our new location at 735 Emerson (across from Dickerson Manor) in Detroit, with a fun-filled lineup of events!

Join us every 2nd and 4th Sunday, from 2:00pm-6:00pm as we continue to advance our mission and carry on a tradition of celebrating family, food, community, arts, culture, and more! JCFM will host live performances, historical storytelling, and cooking demonstrations from local chefs. You can also check out our beautiful new urban flower garden scene, and gain access to fresh garden produce and other locally made goods from regional and neighborhood vendors.

Be sure to mark your calendars and save the dates from July until October 2026 for the following upcoming special events. Our online registration portal for the competitions will open soon!

• July 26 - Smoked Meat Social: A community smoked meat competition, includes musical guests.

• August 23 - Back-to-School Community Day: Youth-focused activities and resources to jumpstart the academic season.

• September 27 - Horseshoe Competition

• October 11 - Harvest Festival: Pumpkins, mums, seasonal produce and fall themed family activities.
